Travelling with Food

There are tons of holiday foods, and every person has their own favorite. But with sharing all that food comes transportation. What are the best ways to transport your food for the holidays?
  • Always use well-sealed containers. Nothing is worse than getting to your destination and realizing the soup leaked all over the floor, or the turkey fell onto the back seat.
  • Strap it down. It may sound funny, but driving can cause your food to shift around. The safer it is from tipping over or flying across the car, the likelier it is to make it to its destination in one piece.
  • Partially cook your food if able. It's better to start the cooking process and bring it and finish the food at your destination. The food will taste better and fresher this way, and it saves time, making your drive less stressful and safer.
